to Garfield Summer Vacation Home Page... Meenaleck is a small village in North Western Donegal, a county in Ireland. Meenaleck, or Jackstown, as it is known on ordinance maps, is not all that big of a place. There are only about 80 people in the village. There are two pubs, a fair number of B&B's, beautiful scenery, and the most friendly people in any village in Ireland. It's hard to find Meenaleck on a map of Donegal because it is so small. It's right next to the village of Crolly, which is easier to find on a map. There is an airport about a half hour away in Carrickfinn called the Donegal International Airport. Buses from Northern Ireland, Dublin, and other cities in Ireland come through nearby cities. There are many interesting things to do in Meenaleck and its surrounding areas, and the purpose of this webpage is to try to show you what Meenaleck has to offer.
